Ponder, ponder, ponder

The eBay auction still has a couple of days to go.
On the one hand it’s a limited edition Vivid (only 200 were made, apparently) and it could be mine for £6,200 (although that’s unlikely - I’d expect the winning bid to be over £7,000).
On the other hand, new models, albeit not red, are £2,000 off until the end of September, have the full manufacturer’s warranty and can be to my specification (albeit not with red paint). And it’s in Wigton, which is a sod of a place to get to from Aaalburgh.
Decisions, decisions.
The question is, which would piss off Grunt more? It has to be a new one, doesn’t it?

Hey, that “£2,000 off” eats into the £4,000 or so depreciation you suffer when you drive it off the forecourt (* cost to part-exchange price). And - to its credit - there’s only another £1,300 or so lost the following year. New cars, eh.
If Parker’s Guide is correct, then I don’t envy you those trips to South Wales:
“On the motorway, it’s very noisy. Road, engine and (with the roof down) wind noise are so bad you should consider something else if motorways are your bag. Lorry drivers suffer from Copen-blindness. The ride is rough and made worse with the Sports Suspension pack fitted.”
Or are you intending to keep the current Rarsh-mobile?
Lionel: I am intending to keep the current rARshMobile (its trade in value’s next to nothing anyway) and if I was travelling to Kairdiff in the Copen I’d be keeping off the motorways, I suspect, as they’d be a lot more fun.

I see it went to TigerTim - would that be another Roarer? or a Lion in disguise?
Lionel: It must be another roarer. ‘Twasn’t me, at least.
