Like a slowly dripping tap

January 29th, 2007 Posted in Irritants

After leaving me in peace for the weekend, my darling stepson is trying to get in touch again.

He may be an evil, money-obsessed and self-centred pile of carp but I’ve got to hand it to him - he’s persistent. I lost count of the number of times he tried tonight.

I’ll let him stew for another 24 hours and will give him a call tomorrow evening when I get home from the gym.

Probably.

In the meantime, MG3’s been in touch, having thoroughly enjoyed her shopping trip and suggesting a movie for a second date. Decisions, decisions.

So shall we all make suggestions for a good date movie currently in Norhag’s finest cinemas… just in case?

    test comment.

  3. Alan Says:

I say go with your gut instinct, but a second date might help you decide?

  4. Lyle Says:

    Pile of carp?

He’s fishy as well as everything else?

Lionel: Yes, it was a deliberate typo.

I should let the little darling stew, permanently - he can always revert to the mail, and then you can have the satisfaction of tearing it up!(unread!) He will eventually get fed up and decide you have mooooooooooooved!

Rom Com Chick Flick. It may become your special film. (Better than your special Designer Outlet/ Department Store)
What have you got to lose except your sanity? - Let me correct myself: What have you got to lose?

  7. Croila Says:

Why not be so nice to the sickening carp that he get’s nauseous and bogs off?

As for MG3, go for it! If you don’t want to do the Rom Com Chick Flick thing, take her to something very scary.

I don’t think I need to expand on this and explain why ;-)
