Ooh, it was soooo close

So there was less than four miles in it.
Lyle’s prediction was 54.3 miles out but Tall Andy’s just 50.7 miles, so it’s TA who gets Percy the Prediction Puffin.
Hard luck, Lyle. If it’s any consolation, a member of your household has had two of my fish while I’ve been away. Grrrr.
[Edit] That sounds a little harsh. A member of Lyle’s household is the prime suspect behind the untimely passing of two of my goldfish while I’ve been away. Grrrr. [/Edit]

*ahem* Prove it.
Lionel: I can’t - hence the edit. Your feline is prime suspect due to:
(a) it being the strange newcomer,
(b) my having chased it away from the pond three times in the week leading up to my trip, and
(c) it being the guiltiest looking cat I’ve ever seen.
Later: Erm … Am I right in thinking the guilty-looking ginger and white feline is yours? If not, apologies are due.

No, no, that’s fair, it sounds like our Psycho Cat®
If the fur is patchy round the back legs, (or generally tatty all over)then it’s definitely our one. And - if you get close - if his eyes are different colours, then yeah, deffo ours.
But there are a couple of other well-groomed ginger/white cats living just over the road from you, so it could be them.
Mind you, so far you’re painting a convincing picture of it being the little bastard.
Lionel: Nah, the Ginger Twins are never apart and the Phantom Phish Phlinger is definitely a lone wolf. Besides, the Ginger Twins made the mistake of popping round to visit when evil Misty was still around and have never shown their faces at rARsh Manor since. To tell the truth I’ve never been fussed about the fish, but finding two of them just lying on the lawn was a bit of a shock.

Fair enough - sounds like the boss-eyed little psycho, for sure.
Sorry.
