Decisions, decisions
So that’s 4am been and gone.
I’ve been lying in bed, tossing and turning for five and a half hours and it’s now passed the stage where going to sleep would be wise (because if I go to sleep now the alarm clock’s not been invented that could rouse me for work).
That’s the problem when I’m poorly. My body clock goes absolutely haywire. I slept, for example, for most of Wednesday. In fact, when I went in to work briefly on Tuesday (before being banished for risking infecting people), I’d actually nodded off on the Park and Ride bus into the city.
Hope I didn’t snore too loudly.
Where was I? Hmm … body’s wide awake but the ol’ noggin’s missing a few cylinders.
Talking of which, who knows how to get the bloody bonnet open on a Sirion? I just can’t find the catch and my screen wash is dribblingly low. I’ll just have to try again in the morning, I suppose. Not now, though, because although it’s morning it’s still pitch black outside so it’s officially night.
Even the tasteless Christmas lights opposite must be off (she’s not taken them down – supposedly bad luck but as she’s crazier than I am, I doubt she’ll notice).
I’ve just been wondering whether there’s a power cut before remembering that I’m using a computer and the mains light is on. Told you my brain wasn’t functioning.
It was Sunday, of course, when I was stricken with H5N1 or whatever it is. Stubby-day, as it was to be. Just my luck. Ah well. Never mind. Clearly not meant to be.
Anyway. There was a reason for my firing up the computer. There was something I wanted to tell you.
Nope.
It’s gone.
Bugger.

Forgive my ignorance but what’s H5N1? Hope you’re better, whatever the heck it is. And your brain is firing on all cylinders!
