I … I will be king

July 26th, 2007 Posted in Mundane musings

Heroes, then.

Lots of promotion across the BBC channels leading up to Wednesday’s launch with two episodes back-to-back to start things off.

After having given things some thought, I was … whelmed. Not overwhelmed. Not underwhelmed. Just whelmed.

I thought it was a very slow start, but then there are another nineteen weeks.

I was amused by something on one of the character summaries – that of Isaac.

Name: Issac Mendez
Location: New York
Job: Artist
Superpower: Is able to paint future events before they happen

Well yes. I think you’ll find that no future events have actually happened yet. That’s rather the whole point of “future”.

[Edit] Surfing about (scrupulously avoiding any reference to anything after episodes 1 and 2) I understand that the pace picks up after these introductions. It looks promising enough for me to stick with.

it picks up and becomes addictive….I became so obsessed after watching most of the first series in Canada last year that I scoured the internet on my return to the UK so I could continue watching it in all it’s brilliance

…oh it gets soooooo much better….
